Hurricane | OOTD

Last week, I had gone to Charleston to visit the school and a few family members. Charleston is literally one of my favorite places to visit and I encourage any one to go there. For me, I am really into history and cute little towns and being from Annapolis this is hopefully a future home for me. It gives me the vibes of being home but at the same time, its warmer and there is more to do and see.

We drove in during a hurricane from Columbia, hence the title and my favorite Halsey song, it was sunny as soon we got there. It was quite windy, not always a good idea to wear a dress when it is, so I wrapped my hair band around the skirt of the dress to keep it from flying up so it is better to have it high on my thigh rather than everyone seeing everything right! I always tend to wear skirts and dresses on the worst day possible to wear them.

I absolutely love this dress because it reminds me so much of Free People but at a much cheaper price. It was very flowy and bohemian and great for the spring time weather. I wore my mighty converse to be comfortable for most of the time while walking. And yes I am wearing a bralette because it is comfortable for the long day I was going to have and it gives it more of a boho feel to it.

Target Finds | Sun Dresses

If you are currently experiencing a very dreary day filled with a mixture of snow and rain, like me, you are probably wishing it was summer. Although summer is not coming for another few months, it does not hurt to look at the pretty sun dresses that will be perfect for those few sunny spring days. Here a few of my favorite finds that I found online and in store.

Who else is ready for summer?! I defiantly am! Check out these fun, bohemian, and edgy pieces at Target!

True Blue | OOTD

Hey everyone! So school is officially out for the summer and since I thought that since I do not have to study anymore, why not put up a post tonight? There would be another later talking about my experience throughout the past school year so before that I want to show you guys what I wore for Memorial Day. Memorial Day was over a week ago and I got really into the spirit with the blues. I loved my outfit because I am starting to become more comfortable with my skin that I am showing a bit with the mesh like lace detailing. Blue is pretty much most of the colors that I have in closet that is not very “I can’t wear that to the pool!” way. I am not a red person, I never knew why also my skin has reds in it which doesn’t really flatter me in anyway. I will say that I did put too much blue on this outfit, not the best idea but I loved it and it was very Patriotic. I miss how in my old town, everyone would come to the middle of town for the parade, which I happened to be in twice, and I loved how much everyone got really into the whole thing. I suggest putting your hair in a braid on very hot day, which I did right after. And everyone, this is my puppy Camden before her major haircut.

New York, concrete jungles where dreams are made of

There is nothing you can’t do in New York

Yesterday I felt like Carrie Bradshaw on the streets of New York, amazed by the stores, inspired by the lights. I had went on a school like trip, it was not mandatory it was for those who wanted to go see a Broadway show. This great city is where I would love to move after high school to pursue a career in fashion, like writing for my most favorite magazine or hopefully creating clothes or putting an outfit together for someone on the red carpet.

But that is in a few more years… So here are some of the pictures I took yesterday. Sorry for my awkward face.

I was surprisingly sweating at 49 degrees, maybe because I’ve been living up north for 8 years or something.

It took me four floors and two times of going to Forever 21 to finally buy something in New York along with five other stores.

Oh yeah can I officially say that I kinda met Bethany Mota, with someone that accidentally walked into the picture, sorry.

046We had pizza at John’s Pizzeria, which was decorated for Christmas. Surprisingly we were allowed to do whatever we wanted before the show so a couple of sixteen year olds walked the the streets of New York alone, during the almost “Christmas” season. It was awesome!

051I obviously had to go into the Disney store!

060As I left the theater to go back to the bus, a leaf fell onto my scarf. It made me smile because New York has been a home to me, with every time I go there, no matter how old I am, it gives me this sort of happiness that even though I am becoming older, my childhood is still with me.

4th of July

Fireworks had light up the dark sky and celebrations were heard across the country as American celebrated Independence from the British as they had done over two hundred years ago. For I would like to be British and have those beautiful accents, but I do appreciate what the Founding Fathers have done for us to make this country very unique (and if you knew me, I like unique things).

So from yesterday it was crazy from me being lazy for most of the day and me driving for my first time in a empty parking lot (even stopping for a squirrel and driving on a curb) and me changing my outfit twice since apparently the one I have been wanting to wear for ages was ‘too fancy’ for a boat club.

A close up of my first top.

Sorry for my face in the next few pictures.

Parisian Maryland

007

A rain in the morning can never effect a day in little Paris (said in the French way). Its not actually a French part of the country that I am talking about, even though I hear there was a high school that is half French speaking. About a few minutes away, a street was closed down for festivities for a Parisian theme day.

Something adorable that I found in a Vintage shop.

I really love how they have the Marilyn Monroe quote!

015

Vintage Vogues, I was really hoping to find a Vintage Chanel Bag or Louis Vuitton but I found a cool old typewriter :).

019

A old 50’s style chandelier I thought was cool.

022

Excuse my face as I am wearing something that Marilyn Monroe would’ve worn.

028

I have a big obsession with bird cages!

026

Not Parisian but I love this!

A little insert of my outfit!
