One of my favorite trends right now is the off the shoulder look. I find this look to be sophisticated yet edgy at the same time. Shoulders have been considered scandalous, mostly at my school, for the longest time and it is time to show some skin.

Last week, I had gone to Charleston to visit the school and a few family members. Charleston is literally one of my favorite places to visit and I encourage any one to go there. For me, I am really into history and cute little towns and being from Annapolis this is hopefully a future home for me. It gives me the vibes of being home but at the same time, its warmer and there is more to do and see.
We drove in during a hurricane from Columbia, hence the title and my favorite Halsey song, it was sunny as soon we got there. It was quite windy, not always a good idea to wear a dress when it is, so I wrapped my hair band around the skirt of the dress to keep it from flying up so it is better to have it high on my thigh rather than everyone seeing everything right! I always tend to wear skirts and dresses on the worst day possible to wear them.
I absolutely love this dress because it reminds me so much of Free People but at a much cheaper price. It was very flowy and bohemian and great for the spring time weather. I wore my mighty converse to be comfortable for most of the time while walking. And yes I am wearing a bralette because it is comfortable for the long day I was going to have and it gives it more of a boho feel to it.
Dress: Target
Shoes: Converse
Bralette: Aerie
If you are currently experiencing a very dreary day filled with a mixture of snow and rain, like me, you are probably wishing it was summer. Although summer is not coming for another few months, it does not hurt to look at the pretty sun dresses that will be perfect for those few sunny spring days. Here a few of my favorite finds that I found online and in store.
Who else is ready for summer?! I defiantly am! Check out these fun, bohemian, and edgy pieces at Target!

Last Tuesday, after dropping off materials to make my job official (I start this Tuesday), I had noticed this woman wearing one of the most adorable outfits I have ever seen. So as I was finding outfits for my first day of work, I put together the look I have seen and absolutely fell in love. Wearing a bun (with an awkward pieces of hair sticking out), I felt like a ballerina or someone from a fairytale.
The tulle skirt is absolutely fun and this is the most whimsical outfit I have ever seen. Tying the bottom up chambray top to make it short makes it a structured piece. Adding the pearl necklace adds more of a fancy touch to the outfit. The shoes I added, other than making a short person like me look like I have long legs, gives more attention to the outfit.
Top: Sears (Lands End)
Skirt: Kohls (Lauren Conrad Collection)
Necklace: White House Black Market
Shoes: Lord and Taylor

I am trying to get back into making more YouTube videos this summer because school kept me away from doing it. So I recently posted a video about my croquet game and let me just say I am very impressed by the thumbnail I created!
Make sure you check it out and subscribe, I will subscribe back!

Last week I had gone to a croquet game in Annapolis, so here is a closer look at my outfit. I feel like a princess!
I absolutely love this dress because the flow and the lace makes me feel beautiful. I have had this dress for over a year and always try to find a chance to wear it. My back feels free with the cool detail in the back and I think I got a tan in that pattern. I suggest to find a nice dreamy fairytale dress to take pictures in and feel like so sophisticated in. 🙂
Hat: Papaya
Necklace: Origami Owl
Dress: Blush (a boutique)
Shoes: TJ Maxx (Tommy Hilfiger)
What happened to the sunshine? It is so cold here!

Today is the annual Naval Academy vs St. John’s College croquet game. My friend Kelly and I had gone to see what the situation was all about. After getting a little anxious over the alcohol people were drinking, all the smokers and seeing kids from school that I cannot deal with because their those type of people, I felt better. We hung out with the band and I even was pulled in to dance with a guy who I believed to be drunk. Afterwards, we had gotten ice cream after the very hot day.
We thought he had a rather fun outfit.
Reminder for next year, bring a group, boys, food, picnic blankets, and shorter shoes to dance in.
He had a bear hat thing that many kids too pictures with.
I tried to take a picture of my shoes but I thought my shadow looked like I was at Coachella.
My new motto.
Always to stop by Navette to check out new their latest items.
Just a girl trying to be a Southern Belle.
I could tell you who won but I do not understand how the sport works.
