Whimsical Fairytail | OOTD

Last Tuesday, after dropping off materials to make my job official (I start this Tuesday), I had noticed this woman wearing one of the most adorable outfits I have ever seen. So as I was finding outfits for my first day of work, I put together the look I have seen and absolutely fell in love. Wearing a bun (with an awkward pieces of hair sticking out), I felt like a ballerina or someone from a fairytale.

The tulle skirt is absolutely fun and this is the most whimsical outfit I have ever seen. Tying the bottom up chambray top to make it short makes it a structured piece. Adding the pearl necklace adds more of a fancy touch to the outfit. The shoes I added, other than making a short person like me look like I have long legs, gives more attention to the outfit.

Top: Sears (Lands End)
Skirt: Kohls (Lauren Conrad Collection)
Necklace: White House Black Market
Shoes: Lord and Taylor

Simple Little Thing | OOTD

I will be busy over the next few weeks so here is a little outfit of the day for you guys! I absolutely love this striped blue and white dress. It is very different from all the dresses I wear and it makes me feel edgy yet casual at the same time. I believe a small black choker would look quite well with the dress, but in my time of need, I quickly pulled out a short pearl necklace that my mom had. I wore this outfit for my last day of fashion class in New York and I felt like I belonged there. I wore a gold bracelet which gave more off a color for the outfit. Gold is a very summery tone which makes the outfit more fun. I wore my worn out converse as a bit of a laid back look and a more comfortable feel!

Homecoming 2013

Homecoming has officially come and gone with the longest Spirit Week ever and I am officially exhausted. It consisted of these guys annoying me, a teacher pretty much hurting his leg at the pep rally and having to be rolled out, having dance practice all week, feeling sick for the past few days, dancing at the game which we won 35-34 and I can’t not wait until I am able to sleep in but can’t since I have an Italian family and they are absolutely loud as a vacuum close to my ear.

Last night I had my Homecoming dance as earlier it took me a while to find the perfect shoes and a necklace to match. I literally took my shoes off within the first five minutes as I was jealous of a friend of mine wearing Converses -_-.

I thought I would make this into an Audrey Hepburn inspired outfit! I did not use the necklace that I got earlier since I thought pearls fit more.

I did not have as fun as I hoped because 1. I can’t dance to their music that they played 2. it was really awkward, I don’t know why though! So yeah I had gotten that Nasty Gal dress from a few post ago but I felt very self conscious so I had to send it back.
