I love this outfit because I am all about layering, which is must fall trend. This outfit is part of a video for Back to School outfits (you can find it in my links below). I am wearing my button up tank which I purchased in New York. My favorite thing about this item is the collar. I am a huge collar fan especially Peter Pan collars peeking over sweaters that give the whole whimsical (or how I call it British style) look. Despite my dark colored outfits, I am super excited to get back into my classic style that I once had. I absolutely love these shoes as they make everything look a bit laid back.

If you have been living under a rock, you would have known that New York Fashion is sadly over. While I a currently trying to keep up on the latest fashion across the pond over to London Fashion Week, I could not help but put together an outfit that I would have worn if I could have gone to New York Fashion Week. All I have been doing recently has been dreaming about going to Fashion Week, just being outside watching the street style would be amazing. Sadly I am in the suburbs, a good 4ish hours away (by train) with an outfit ready to go.

I absolutely love this jacket! I draped it over my shoulders like a cape inspired by one of my favorite bloggers, Danielle Bernstein. It gives that whole edgy vibe to the whole outfit. I love how it is quilted as it is in style this season and I am so existed to purchase more quilted items when fall finally kicks in.
Yes my new shoes just got dirty in the grass but they are absolutely so comfortable. I have been looking for simple black slip on shoes but I could not resist when I saw the gold chain!
Of course I am wearing my mom’s gold bracelet! I thought there should be another touch of gold so it could match the shoes!
Who says you cannot be comfortable yet stylish? I love my beanie to death and I could just wear it with anything! It is fall time and I think everyone, even the Queen of England should get themselves a lovely beanie!
For the past few months, maybe for almost a year, I have been experimenting with my fashion even more. Around this time last year I had discovered punk rock music (starting with my 5 Seconds of Summer obsession) and finding myself personally and style wise. Growing up is discovering who you are and learning from mistakes and sometimes successes. I learned who I was maybe about a year or so after I started this blog and I could not be happier! Not many people know what they want in life and me, well I have most it planned down. But this post is not about the future but it is about this outfit that I put together for a back to school idea.
I have been discovering darker colors and learning how I rock my own style. It has become harder to put a girly outfit without it being to bright and fluffy so I tend to go for the edgy laidback look. Most people would consider is punk rock, but for me I am really not in that area. I have been putting together leather pieces and having the time with learning how my style has evolved.
Top: J.Crew | Skirt: Forever 21 | Shoes: Converse
Yes I should be studying but of course I do not want to. So I decided to dress up for this pretty almost summer days before spending the rest of the day pretty much inside. Although Coachella has been over for a while now and sadly I wish I could go, I recently styled an outfit that I probably would wear to the music festival as it is very boho chic.
Just my adorable puppy photobombing! I cannot believe she will be 1 year old on Tuesday! I love my little Cammie!
During Easter last week, my family and I decided to pack everyone into the car (mom, dad and my two brothers) and head down for the up to an hour drive to Georgetown, Washington D.C. I was super excited because MAYBE I could get to meet my favorite band as they were performing not so far from D.C., but sadly they were still in the city they performed the night before :(. Other than that, I actually had a beautiful walk around Georgetown including buying a cropped sweater at H&M!
Look at that awkward face! And thank you for my brother trying to do his best to take outfit shots being the second time.
Shorts: Lucky Brand
Flannel: American Eagle
I love the record players because like they are so adorable and everyone should have at least one record in their house if they feel like being artsy.
I absolutely love the elegance of the town, the white bricks and (though I have not toured the University yet) Georgetown University looked like a real life Hogwarts. I would love to live here because it is so pleasant, I am saying this out of experience but it is amazing there that I cannot wait to go back again!
