Feeling like a Princess at Versailles – Paris Day 2

I was put to the test on my trip to Versailles, my French class has told me some of the history about this famous castle and I even did a debate in French (which was the worst), but I had learned more about the ongoings behind gold encrusted fences.

The castle is magnificent with the artwork and the architecture but the gardens were my favorite. I couldn’t explore most of the grounds but it was fun to find hidden gardens that not everyone notices. It was quite a walk around but I thing I wore off my very unhealthy lunch.

Although it may not be ideal to live here back then (my side on the debate) I would sure like to live among the gardens because they are amazing.

We had planned to visit the Eiffel Tower afterwards but because of the Euro and their fans, we couldn’t. But instead we got pictures from across the Seine and it was quite elegant in person.

Due to the trouble with the Eiffel Tower, we walked all the way up of the Arc De Triomphe which has the most beautiful views I have ever seen! Just look at the photo of Paris with the Eiffel Tower in the middle! It gives me chills that I took that picture!

I had two more days left in France and I just wanted to stay longer!

Florida Day 3: DisneyWorld and MGM

We have finally got to the last posts of my trip to Florida! It has taken me a little over a month to get this far, but we’ve made it! I wished that I have been able to do more and go on more rides but hopefully next time!

Hello Mr. Crane, nice to see you there! Do you mind hiding while I try to take a picture? Thank you!

Two Wendys and a Peter! Love you mister Peter Pan! I swear to God, I waited maybe an hour or so (maybe exaggerating) to meet his awesome character. The line consisted mostly of teenage girls who love how he will never be corrupted by growing up. I feel the same love for Peter but he gives me this feeling of being taken away to unknown places from the terrors of adulthood. You will never guess but I was extremely nervous to even be a few feet from him. Let’s just say I am not a pirate and the watch on my necklace won’t let me know what time it is to go home.

We ended up at the Grand Floridian for lunch! Other than the few restaurants they had, we ended up eating where they served breakfast. But the hotel was extremely beautiful! There was a wedding there and the bride looked so pretty and I told my mom about it and she stated that I shouldn’t be getting married at Disney. Oh well.

We had gotten on the bus from the hotel off to MGM for the ending part of the trip! I wish I done more than complain about my feet hurting but I absolutely loved it! I was always into the whole movie idea and it was just incredible! We went on the Great Movie Ride and I saw a clip of my favorite movie star, Audrey Hepburn at the end. I realized why I wanted to be an actress, not because it is fun to be someone else for a change but to be part of a long lasting legacy.

Florida Day 1: DisneyWorld at Night

February 14th was full of being stuck on a plane going up to Rochester and going down to Orlando for a little over 4 hours. It was my first time traveling all by myself so that was a scary milestone. Let’s just say I was upset about leaving my family behind and I felt embarrassed going through security and walking around crying for a few minutes but I got over it.
Landing in Orlando was full of crying children getting excited when their parents mentioned Mickey and I was kind of looking out the window to see if I can see Cinderella’s castle from the distance. My grandmother and grandfather picked me up and we went straight to the hotel, Port Orleans the French Quarter.
We had recieved the Mickey Fast Passes as room keys and I thought it was pretty cool! We had gone to the Magic Kingdom later that night, which included waiting forever for the bus. As soon as we got there, we had passes to the Haunted Mansion. Thinking I was going to scared out of my brains, it was kind of silly that I was. We had gone on my favorite ride, the Mad Teacups and I was kind of happy about that whole adventure.
Before we left, we went to see the electrical parade and I could not get any unfuzzy pictures, sadly.

New York, concrete jungles where dreams are made of

There is nothing you can’t do in New York

Yesterday I felt like Carrie Bradshaw on the streets of New York, amazed by the stores, inspired by the lights. I had went on a school like trip, it was not mandatory it was for those who wanted to go see a Broadway show. This great city is where I would love to move after high school to pursue a career in fashion, like writing for my most favorite magazine or hopefully creating clothes or putting an outfit together for someone on the red carpet.

But that is in a few more years… So here are some of the pictures I took yesterday. Sorry for my awkward face.

I was surprisingly sweating at 49 degrees, maybe because I’ve been living up north for 8 years or something.

It took me four floors and two times of going to Forever 21 to finally buy something in New York along with five other stores.

Oh yeah can I officially say that I kinda met Bethany Mota, with someone that accidentally walked into the picture, sorry.

046We had pizza at John’s Pizzeria, which was decorated for Christmas. Surprisingly we were allowed to do whatever we wanted before the show so a couple of sixteen year olds walked the the streets of New York alone, during the almost “Christmas” season. It was awesome!

051I obviously had to go into the Disney store!

060As I left the theater to go back to the bus, a leaf fell onto my scarf. It made me smile because New York has been a home to me, with every time I go there, no matter how old I am, it gives me this sort of happiness that even though I am becoming older, my childhood is still with me.

065The last glimpse of New York.
